NICK PICCHETTI LMT / MANUAL THERAPIST

f0

Nick is always trying to learn and understand what makes the body tic. Through anatomy classes and extensive continuing education he focuses on all aspects of the healing process. His main goal of treatment is to get people back to doing the active things they love with pain free mobility.

He develops a treatment plan for each patient using different soft tissue techniques such as myofascial release, sports massage, active muscle technique, and trigger point therapy.  His patients include athletes, office workers, drivers, and chronic pain patients. Different reasons that people work with him are injury rehab, soft tissue pain, excessive muscle tension, lymphatic drainage, overall body sluggishness, fatigue and for regular occurring maintenance massage. He also works with specific soft tissue injuries such as carpal tunnel, plantar fasciitis, neck & shoulder pain, and back pain.

Nick is very active in outdoor sports such as mountain biking, hiking, trail running, and exploring. You can pretty much find him on the trail if there is one around!

WHAT’S ONE EASY THING THAT NICK THINKS ANYONE CAN DO TO GREATLY IMPROVE THEIR HEALTH?

-Drink more water! Your brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. You can look at any tissue in the body and it has a huge water component to it.  Tea’s and alternatives to water actually cause the body to become more dehydrated because you have to use your own water stores to dilute and balance out any non water drinks.
